Tim Cooper, executive director of UK high-performance polymer maker Victrex plc, is retiring from the company in June next year, after a decade of successful work with the company.
Cooper will therefore step down from the Victrex board and his executive role on 30 Sept, the company announced 24 June.
He joined Victrex in January 2010 as managing director of the industrial division. His responsibilities cover the management of the industrial division’s sales and operation functions.
Victrex said it had to no current plans to directly replace Cooper and that his responsibilities would be assumed by other executive directors.
Martin Court, executive director, will now oversee the group's market-based activities across its industrial and medical divisions as chief commercial officer, effective 1 Oct.
Cooper remains a non-executive director of Renold plc.
