KraussMaffei Corp. in Florence, Kentucky, has a new president: Charlie Rogers who comes from John Bean Technologies Corp., a Chicago-based manufacturer of food machinery, airport equipment and automation systems.
Rogers, who began as KM president 3 Sept, succeeds Paul Caprio, who left the company in early June.
Rogers has about 20 years of experience in industrial companies. He also brings experience in European business, KM said.
KraussMaffei Corp. is the US subsidiary of the Munich-based machinery manufacturer KraussMaffei Group GmbH. The company makes injection moulding machines, extrusion lines and polyurethane processing equipment.
Rogers will report to Michael Ruf, KraussMaffei Group's chief operating officer. Ruf served as interim president of the US operation after Caprio left.
"We are pleased to have found an experienced manager in Charlie Rogers who will use his expertise to expand our US business," Ruf said.
