EPCA names Marc Schuller as new president

On the final day of its 51st annual meeting today in Berlin, the European Petrochemical Association (EPCA), announced that Marc Schuller, the current vice-president of EPCA, was to assume the role of president of the association. His appointment is effective October 4, for a term of three years.

Schuller is replacing Ineos Group director Tom Crotty, who served in total two terms as president, first from 20 10-2012 and then again from 2014 until today.

Marc Schuller said he was very pleased to take on this new responsibility and to “continue the path Tom Crotty has brilliantly laid out as President of EPCA”.

Born in 1960, Marc Schuller, a French National and graduate of ESSEC - École Supérieure des Sciences Économiques et Commerciales - in Paris is currently executive vice-president, in charge of coating solutions and industrial specialties business segments, as well as raw materials/energy purchasing at Arkema.

EPCA is the quality network in Europe for the global chemical business community consisting of chemical producers, their suppliers, customers and service providers. It serves as the platform to meet, exchange information and transfer learning, as well as a think tank for its members and its stakeholders.
