Polish construction materials maker LS Tech-Homes S.A. has secured a new investor which will invest around PLN 20m (€4.7m) in the company. The funds acquired from ARP Venture, an investment fund operated by the state-run Industrial Development Agency (ARP), are to allow LS Tech-Homes to expand its output capacity.
The company's product range includes Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) made with the use of EPS, as well as other products for the construction industry, including PE profiles, according to data from LS Tech-Homes.
“The funds obtained from ARP Venture will allow the company to increase its production of innovative structural products through the completion of its investments at three production facilities,” said Patrycja Zielińska, the deputy president of ARP. “The company has potential to expand its global presence, as it already supplies its products to various parts of the world. We hope that the investment by ARP Venture will further accelerate the company's development.”
Under the plan, LS Tech-Homes aims to complete its investments by the end of 2015. The firm currently owns a factory in Czechowice-Dziedzice, in southern Poland, and is constructing one plant in the country's south-western part, and two production facilities in northern Poland.
LS Tech-Homes is based in Bielsko-Biała, about 335 km from Poland's capital Warsaw.
