We’re excited to announce that the digital July/August issue of Plastics News Europe is now live and available to readers online. In it, we’ve included features on a range of topics – plastics in construction, thermoforming and a look back at a successful PDM event in Telford last month.
A year on from the Grenfell Tower catastrophe, we’ve explored the ongoing issues around flame retardants in plastics and discuss a few of the latest developments in this area.
We also report on a new approach, or more correctly, a new way of thinking about the thermal management of buildings using plastics and 3D printing technology, which is being researched at two universities in the Netherlands.
As always, our regular pages include James Snodgrass’ Design Landmark column, in which he explores the history and fate of the great – and sometimes less great - iconic plastic products produced, and our Prices overview, which is researched and written by David Platt.
