German machinery supplier Kiefel GmbH is investing a “double-digit million” amount in a new training centre, which it says will be its central hub technical training.

The ground-breaking ceremony was held on 28 Feb for the centre, where Keifel expects to work with prospective technicians in a range of fields, including automation technology, robotics and industrial mechanics.

The 1500sq.m training centre will be in Freilassing, Germany, where Kiefel is headquartered.

The construction of the building and its “future-oriented” equipment are expected to finish within 10 months, to be ready by the turn of year.
