Zahoransky posts record sales in 2017

Zahoransky AG has posted a record year in terms of sales, marking its fourth consecutive year of growth.

The German specialist in moulds, machinery and automation said its sales grew 34% to €123m in the year 2017, compared to €92m the year before.

The company did not provide figures for its earnings or profits.

[Injection moulding] Machinery orders rose 50%, said the company, adding that other segments, including Zahoransky Automation & Molds GmbH as well as the machinery for broom & brush, dental hygiene and packaging recorded a significant rise.

This, said the German supplier, was achieved through “continuous expansion” across six of the group’s production sites. The company did not specify which sites had undergone expansion.

Zahoransky has ten locations in Germany, Spain, Japan, China, India, Brazil and the US.

Among others, Zahoransky offers injection moulds for economical start-up solutions, multi-component moulds as well as a selection of brush machinery, for making tooth-brushes, small interdental brushes, hair and body care brushes.

In addition, the company offers integration of packaging technology.

This includes in-house production of blister packaging machines, handling systems and robotics.
