Sudarshan Europe, an India-based manufacturer of industrial chemicals and pigments has anounced the appointment of Milan W. Krumbe as the new general manager of Sudarshan Europe B.V. in Amsterdam, effective 1 July. With this appointment, Sudarshan is emphasizing its commitment to the European market and its intention to strengthen and expand its position in that market.
Krumbe has a comprehensive knowledge of the market and previous experience in the global development of business organizations.
He started his career at Siegwerk in R&D, followed by a stint at DuPont Performance Coatings, before joining Lanxess, where he was active in strategy and organizational development.
Krumbe has also held positions at Rockwood, where he was named global sales director of the white pigment business before he taking over as global market director of the specialty polymers business at Solvay. Prior to assuming his role at Sudarshan, he was member of the executive committee for Germany, Austria, Switzerland at Bureau Veritas in the field of QHSE.
Sudarshan was established in India in 1952 and has grown from a domestic supplier of a handful of inorganic pigments into an international corporation that manufactures products ranging from classical azo pigments to high performance pigments, effect pigments and pigment dispersions. The company mainly serves the coatings, plastics, inks and cosmetics markets.
